Limousines for all Occasions - Essentials Magazine

An article in 'Essentials' Magazine (Nov 2005) along with these photos reviews a 'Last Night of Freedom' of some of our customers on a Hen Night out.

It used to be a get together in the pub but now hen nights are big business

One of Got Limo's driver provides a bloke's eye view of these events which is recorded in the magazine:

Whether its a hen party or just a glam girls' night out, one of the most popular options is to hire a limo for the evening.  Professional driver Steve Timms from Essex has seen it all.  He says: 'I really like the fact that the people I drive have saved up for a special night and are determined to enjoy themselves. It's like 15 minutes of fame, because wherever the limo stops, people want to see who's inside.  Most people behave themselves - they're just high spirited.

'I did have one strange experience, when I picked up a party of police women on a hen do.  They were dressed in uniform - but with suspenders, short skirts, handcuffs - the lot.  They had been drinking already before coming on board and they just carried on.  The next thing I knew, they were exposing themselves out of the windows!  I looked in the mirror and there was a police car with blue flashing lights coming up behind me. I pulled over and told the officers "They're your lot - you deal with them."

'One walked to a passenger window and tapped on it, only to get a warrant card thrust in his face and the words "Now f**** off!" ringing in his ears.  So he did.

Steve was so incensed by this - he could have expected to receive 3 penalty points on his licence for carrying passengers behaving like that - that he complained to the local chief constable and received an apology.
